Celebration of Reading Day
National Reading Month is being celebrated in our vidyalaya from 19th June 2019 to 18 July 2019.So kindly participate in different reading activities which will be organised in library.
Brief discription :-
The annual remembrance day of P N Panicker is observed as the 'Day of Reading' by the Govt.of
Kerala for the past 21 yrs. with week-long activities at schools. As we all aware, the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, had dedicated to the nation, the concept of the National Digital Library of India as One Library for All of India on June 19th 2018. It is a matter of pride that the dedication was made while commemorating the services of the Late P.N.Panicker, the father of Library and Literacy Movement.Though the famous slogan Read and Grow, he helped to expand the library network from a mare 45 in 1945 to more than 6,000 in the 1980.
